Plot
Yoon Bum is a young man who has a difficult past and is now mentally ill. He falls in love with Oh Sangwoo (a military peer who saved him from being raped) and decides to go into Sangwoo’s house while he is away. Yoon Bum discovers a battered, tied-up woman in Sangwoo’s basement. But Sangwoo is there to catch him. He is later revealed to be a serial murderer. Sangwoo breaks Bum’s ankles, and despite Yoon Bum being in love with him, Sangwoo forces Bum into an abusive and manipulative relationship that will last until the end.

Yoon Bum became a victim of abuse and neglect in his youth. Bum is shy, timid, sensitive, and quiet. He has a history of BPD. Bum sees affection towards him as a sign that he is loved. This is because he has never received any affection before, making him feel attached to those who show him, love.
